Manal Elhamra

I completed high school in Arabic in Saudi Arabia before moving to the United States, where I began my journey in early childhood education. I completed the Child Care Basics training and joined Medina Academy in 2023. My passion for working with children and contributing to the Islamic community has guided my path in education and service.

In addition to my role at Medina, I teach Islamic Studies and Arabic to children on Sundays at MAPS, helping to instill strong faith-based values and cultural understanding. I enjoy creating supportive and engaging learning environments where students feel connected and confident in their identity.

Outside of the classroom, I love spending time outdoors—especially hiking in Washington’s beautiful landscapes. I also enjoy cooking and participating in community events. Being part of an Islamic learning environment is both meaningful and fulfilling, and I am proud to support Medina’s mission.
