Sandwiches and Smiles 🥪💛

On November 21, 2025, MedinaCares joined forces with the Immigration Women’s Community Center (IWCC) for a heartwarming sandwich-making event at the Redmond, Together Center. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., 17 enthusiastic student volunteers prepared 250 sandwiches, including tuna and cheese varieties.

Each sandwich was packed into a meal box with a packet of chips and a special kindness note written by the volunteers, adding a personal touch to every meal. The boxes were then delivered to members of the local Lake City Seattle Housing facility, spreading both nourishment and heartfelt encouragement.
