Accelerated Mathematics Program

At Medina Academy, we are committed to nurturing each student’s potential by providing opportunities for advanced learning. Our Accelerated Mathematics Pathway is designed for motivated students who demonstrate strong mathematical aptitude and readiness to move at a faster pace. This program challenges students with a rigorous curriculum, allowing them to progress beyond grade-level standards while building problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills that prepare them for higher-level math courses in high school and beyond.

Elementary

3rd grade enVision Math 3rd Grade enVision Math 4th Grade Spring MAP – 90th percentile

All trimester report cards – 90%
4th grade enVision Math 4th Grade enVision Math 5th Grade 2024 SBAC – Level 4

Spring MAP – 90th percentile

All trimester report cards – 90%
5th grade enVision Math 5th Grade CMP4 (Connected MathematicsProject 4) – Math 6+ 2024 SBAC – Level 4

Spring MAP – 90th percentile

Middle School

6th grade CMP4 (Connected MathematicsProject 4) – Math 6+ CMP4 (Connected MathematicsProject 4)- Math 7+ 2024 SBAC – Level 4

Spring MAP RIT score – 243 and above

All trimester report cards – 87%
7th grade CMP4 (Connected MathematicsProject 4)- Math 7+ CMP4 (Connected MathematicsProject 4)- Algebra 1 Must pass the math pathway they are in to proceed to the next level
8th grade CMP4 (Connected MathematicsProject 4)- Algebra 1 Geometry Must pass the math pathway they are in to proceed to the next level
9th grade Geometry Algebra 2 Must pass the math pathway they are in to proceed to the next level
